Buy-ins
We acquire mid- and large-cap companies in Europe, North America and Africa. For this process, we apply impactful, transformational buy-and-build and growth strategies. These strategies enable such businesses to become global market leaders in their specific sector, putting sustainability at the heart of their business. To that end, we have developed a sustainable, impactful concept designed tool whereby we quantify, monitor and improve our portfolio of companies’ social and environmental contribution and direct impact and compact. Compact – agreements among parties on matters in which they have a common concern/alignment. We aim for long-term growth.
With buy-ins, Brentwood Nexus partners with talented entrepreneurs who run mid-sized companies. Drawing on 42 years’ experience in this segment, we support them with a practical, customised, sustainable approach as they navigate their accelerated growth and confront their strategic challenges. We take a mid-to-long-term perspective and build partnerships that create sustainable value for all stakeholders with a strong focus on social and environmental contribution and direct impact and compact. We aim to grow our return four times.
Capital
Growth
We target high-growth profitable companies globally that are benefitting from digital transformation and are disrupting the traditional value chain in their industry sector. With our team’s collective experience, we leverage and focus on building leading digital businesses with high strategic value. We generally commit alongside the founders, in a partnership of trust and commitment. Many of these digital businesses are vested in industries relating to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). 4IR is a way of describing the blurring of boundaries between the physical, digital and biological worlds. It's a fusion of advances in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, the internet of things (IoT), virtual reality, 3D printing, genetic engineering, quantum computing and other technologies. The 4IR represents a fundamental change in the way we live, work and relate to one another. It is a new chapter in human development, enabled by extraordinary technological advances in proportion to those of the first, second and third industrial revolutions. These types of businesses have the potential to bring true alpha.
